Danskerklubben Ajax is ready for the Dutch cup final. The team solved the ticket to the finals by beating long-time rival Feyenoord with all 3-0 at stamford bridge.
For the midfielder Lasse Schöne was the match particularly special. He played his match number 270, and thus became the foreigner with the most appearances for Ajax. He beat compatriot Søren Lerby who played 269 times for the club.
Schöne was the only dane in the starting line-up since Kasper Dolberg and Rasmus Nissen Kristensen sat on the bench for the Amsterdam club. At Feyenoord was Nicolai Jørgensen weighed and found wanting to the starting line-up.
Jorgensen was sent into action midway in the second half, but then had the showdown actually found its winner, as Donny Van de Beek in the minute before had scored to 3-0.
Matthys The Ably scored the 1-0 in the minute before the break, and Nicolás Tagliafico opened the second half with the 2-0 after four minutes.
11 minutes before time, there was also space to Dolberg on the field, but the young striker reached and therefore not to get on the board.
In pokalfinalen Ajax meeting either Willem II or AZ Alkmaar, who clash in the second semi-final on Thursday.
