The film Director Agnès Varda is dead. The family of the Frenchwoman said on Friday. In February, the 90-Year-old had been awarded at the Berlinale for her life’s work.

The filmmaker had worked in her over 60-year-long career with more than 30 works, the reputation of one of the key figures of international auteur cinema. You could look at awards such as the Golden lion, an honorary César, or the Golden palm. The Locarno film festival awarded her with the 2014 leopard of honor.
