ROME – Was born as a conference against anti-semitism, and became primarily an appointment on the defense of Israel. A few days from 27 January – the date in which they are every year commemorated the victims of the Holocaust – the League has chosen to organize in Rome a conference on “new forms of anti-semitism”. At the Palazzo Giustiniani there were also diplomats, scholars and, above all, the israeli ambassador Dror Eydar.
“Who wants to wipe Israel has an opponent in the us, now and always,” said the leading league, introduced by the president of the Senate, Elisabetta Casellati. “Who wants the destruction is anti-semitic and should be challenged. The anti-semitism of some right-conservative and some the left is our enemy. We have the duty to fight those who say that the jews are the nazis of today: there are those who think in the islamic world but also in certain worlds in Europe”. On the other hand, the close relationship with the israeli premier, Netanyahu is one of the key points in the vision of the foreign policy of Salvini.
