Kercheval and Larry Hagman who played JR Ewing – Cliff Barnes nemesis – were the only two actors who starred in all 14 seasons of “Dallas” between the years 1978 and 1991.
Cliff Barnes returned when “Dallas” was revived in tv-movie “Dallas: JR returns” in 1996, and in a new twist, which aired in three seasons, 2012-2014, and, in short, was called “Dallas”.
