the Network of male journalists organized themselves in a secret facebook group called Ligue you Lol. It is described as a tasteless pojkklubb and is accused of having engaged in hate campaign against women, feminists, blacks and homosexuals.

the Members of the network has, among others, called female colleagues whores and spread offensive pictures of the people they attacked in social media, often via fake accounts. In several cases, they have photoshoppat into victims ‘ faces on pornographic images.
the Group has been around since at least 2009. It was then that the harassment of Florence Desruol began, she tells The Guardian. She was a freelance consultant in Lyon.
Desruol complained of an editor-in-chief and reported the violations to the police. But neither redaktionsansvariga or the police force understood the extent or knew what they would do about the problem.

But some female journalists have said that it is not only concerned about insults, but also threats of rape, and the harassment must not only have taken place on the network, but in some cases even in real life.
the Scandal peaked in the week, even Paris city hall, where the two employees are suspected to have been involved in the LOl group before they sought a municipal job.
One of the victims, Léa Lejeune tells the BBC that she first met the members of the network at events with journalists and thought they were tongue-in-cheek.

” They represented the progressive ideas in the newsroom, but their behaviour was the opposite. They devoted themselves to harassment, and gave expressions of sexism and racism, says Joffrin.
But the young journalists say ”Lol”group was widely known, and they knew they gave all they perceived as competitors.
