Despite the prices and a long career, has Hedlund been called ”one of our most famous unknown actor”.
He was born in Ersmark in the municipality of Skellefteå in 1933 and has worked at several major theatres, and appeared in 50 films and tv series. Among other things, he appeared in ”the Hunters”, ”Three loves” and ”Skärgårdsdoktorn”. In 1969, he won a Guldbagge for his role as Harold in the film ”Ådalen 31”.
“I have been lucky in the profession and met a lot of great people,” said Hedlund in an interview with Norran 2011.
