India’s first locally built trains, Vande Bharat Express, was inaugurated on Friday by the country’s prime minister. The train would, thus, become India’s fastest with a speed of 160 kilometres an hour.
But the joy was short-lived. On his first trip was the train broken.
on the way back to the capital city of New Delhi, after his first trip to the city of Varanasi as the brakes in one of the wagons broke down. Shortly thereafter, drivers must have discovered the smoke in some of the wagons and the train lost power.
According to indian media, the behavior may have been due to the fact that the train must have been running on a cow.
the Passengers, which mainly consisted of officials and journalists, had to change and take another train to get back to Delhi.
the Train was later able, again, to be in the traffic after the problems are fixed, writes India Today.
