strong tropical cyclone Kenneth reached late on the Thursday evening to the north of Mozambique, barely a month after another storm, cyclone Idai, hit the country.
Three people lost their lives in kenneth’s rampage in the archipelago of the Comoros on Thursday and one person was killed in Pemba in the province of Cabo Delgado, after having had a tree on Friday, according to the national katastrofmyndigheten INGC.
Around 680 000 people live in the areas where the cyclone passes and 30 000 people have been evacuated.

The cost of the damage that the cyclone caused is estimated to be two billion dollars – the equivalent of 19 billion.
