All categories of offences increased except theft and acquisitive crime, which fell by 9 per cent – most of pickpocketing and housebreaking. Fraud was the category that increased the most, by 25%.
Looking at the types of offences within each category, pointing to the numbers, however, in some different directions.
Within the category of crimes against the person, where the notifications, the total increased by 1 percent, decreased assault offences are the 1%, of which the notifications of domestic violence against men decreased by 6 percent.
women grew by 6 per cent and against children, with 13 per cent, while the notified rapes against men decreased by 7% (of a much smaller number).
