E20 Vestmotorvejen was, according to the Danish road directorate earlier on Thursday blocked in the direction towards the great belt after an accident. There are still big queues.
– There is an accident in progress in the direction of the great belt Bridge, the road is completely blocked, and you are therefore the traffic at the junction, called 40B Neuhausen, said the duty officer at the Danish road directorate, Rune Johansen, earlier in the day to Ekstra Bladet.
– It is without a doubt, affect the ferietrafikken against the bridge.
Although the highway no longer is blocked, you can expect an extended journey time of up to 50 minutes.
There is supposed to be talking about an accident in which several cars were involved. It remains to be seen whether there are any injuries or deaths.
