Albert Rivera has achieved one of the two objectives that had been marked in the elections of andalusia, and the other one has cherished. The most important, that sparked the euphoria in the party, the possibility of dislodging Susana Díaz of the Junta de Andalucía, after 36 years of socialism. Not waited: past nine in the evening, the address is still recognized as “very difficult,” the sum on the right. But a historical shift allows Rivera to caress the andalusian Government. “We’re going to take the PSOE government of Andalusia,” proclaimed the leader of Citizens after discovering the results. The second claim was about: there was no sorpasso for the PP, but Citizens are treads on the heels of the popular.

In his appearance, the leader of Citizens he anticipated, elated, that his party will try to lead the alternative Government to Diaz. “We will submit our candidacy,” announced Rivera, as he had warned he would during the campaign. “There is no reason for you not rule over Citizens,” emphasized Rivera along with the candidate, John Marin, and the party leadership, in a hotel of Seville, between screams, enthusiastic of their militants, they chanted, “Goodbye, Susanita goodbye!”. Rivera ignored to Vox and, instead, cited the PP and the PSOE as the party to which be asked to vote for their candidate. “Change has come to Andalucía, we have enough votes for the change,” said Marin. Marin justified his claim to be in that “only from a project center can you lead this change.” Neither the one nor the other is mentioned the formation of the extreme right.

The enthusiasm invaded the party, which achieved an important growth, with 12 seats in 2015: passes of nine deputies to 21, and treads on the heels of the PP, without sorpasso, but just two points away. There has not been sorpasso for the PP, but has been very close, which allows Citizens to keep open the battle for the leadership of the center right. The party of Albert Rivera exceeds the 650,000 votes, and the 18%, to less than 100,000 ballots for the PP and to two points of difference. The 21 seats of Rivera, the face 26 of the RFP, are mostly built on the good results of the party in Cádiz, Málaga and Seville. In these last two provinces, Citizens can overcome the PP. But the success of Citizens is the possibility of the sum on the right, however, opens up a Queenbet scenario of pacts complex that will now be clarified.

Citizens opened the campaign with the commitment that not investiría Susana Díaz or pactaría in any case with the PSOE. At the same time, extended his hand to the PP, but Rivera and Marin have claimed the leadership of the eventual pact with the argument that it is up to Citizens to preside over the Government because it grows while the PP is low. “We’re going to raise lead us, a clean Government, is not pending in the courts. The PP, from the opposition, has not gotten a single measure. We will propose an endowment and support us. If there is only one seat more than change, the PP will have to rely to lead the Government,” said the leader of the Nationals the last week of the campaign.

The difficulties will be, therefore, in that agreement of the PP because the popular will also want to lead the Government with the legitimacy of having been ahead, but also in the support of Vox. Marín said in an interview in THE COUNTRY that does not pactarían with Vox, but would admit to their votes for an endowment without selling them. This is, as Peter Sanchez had the support of the independents in the motion of censure. “If Vox decides to votarnos, we will be happy. Thank you so much for the support, but that is to make the changes that Citizens raised, not to put in place policies of other parties with which we do not share space. We’re not going to agree with Vox and we are not going to reach agreements with them,” said Marin.

Rivera called for a vote of punishment in Andalusia, Pedro Sanchez, and this Sunday, he insisted on the reading of the failure of Susana Díaz is the failure of the president a socialist. “Listen, mr. Sanchez, the andalusians have been given back, we ask you to convene elections,” said Rivera.

Success of a campaign of Catalan accent

The Citizens ‘ campaign had more accent in Catalan than andalusian. The party has sought the vote of punishment to Diaz for the management of the Government of Pedro Sanchez, and in particular by its strategy of rapprochement with the pro-independence catalans. “I know you are going to come to many voters of the PSOE who are going to say enough is enough, we don’t buy Sanchez their occurrences, the agreements with the separatists”, he defended Rivera in the closing rally of the campaign in Sevilla. The message pivotó in the unity of Spain and the protest against the separatist Catalan, with little emphasis on the proposals for the reform of Andalusia. Rivera and Joined to turn with a dozen acts between the two to clothe a candidate discrete, Juan Marín, with a little jerk, but that however has resulted.
