It is a cuban artist, Livan Rafael Castellanos, known as Livam, who believes that Shakira and her songwriting partner Carlos Vives copied parts of his song “Yo te quiero tanto (I love you so much),” writes Reuters.
Livam that the couple copied the line of text “que te sueno y que te quiero tanto,” which means “I dream about you and love you so much”. But the court assesses that there are no grounds for the allegations and wrote in its decision that the text can be considered to be “so common that it is used in all sorts of lyrics by the story”.

Shakira said in his testimony during the negotiations that she had never heard Livams song when she wrote “La bicicleta”. The singer is also accused of having attempted to avoid paying taxes on 14.5 million euros and the trial in the case begins in June.
