Damberg had his breakthrough as an artist in 1959, when she participated in tryouts to the Eurovision Song Contest with the song ”Birdsong”. The year after she came third with the song ”Nancy Nancy”.
She is best known for the songs ”the Health of Mikael from me” and ”Kärleksland”.
Britt Damberg died on march 31 of this year.
