Shortly after 11 o’clock on Saturday morning, local time, was 28-year-old Brenton Tarrant before a judge. The preliminary hearing in the district court in Christchurch was held barely a day after the first shots were fired against visitors Al Noor mosque. The newspaper writes that it is uncertain whether the arrest of 18-year-old in connection with Friday’s terror attacks.
