Tarracus, the endearing mascot of Tarragona 2018, will have a second chance in the next parade of the three Kings. The City of Altafulla (Tarragonès), one of the 16 host countries and of the Mediterranean Games, has purchased 500 stuffed Tarracus for Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar can give away from their floats. The coastal municipality, which hosted a successful test of triathlon, is now the only one that has bought stuffed animals to the company awarded the contract for the merchandising, Expolicencias SL, which keeps in its store of Fraga (Huesca) about 5,000 dolls Tarracus and offers a bargain price for not having to destroy them.

The town Hall of Tarragona, the main driver of the Mediterranean Games, reported to Expolicencias that did not want to receive information about the offer, and not provided or an e-mail. The offer is still valid and the signature of Fraga is confident that it can close any other sale with a view to the feasts of Christmas and epiphany, to be able to mitigate a little the business ruinous turned out to be for them to Tarragona 2018, with a loss of 200,000 euros for the few sales.
Some associations outside of Tarragona have also made contact with Expolicencias asking if they could receive stuffed toys, but free of charge.
