A wall between the united states and Mexico was one of Donald Trump’s clearest election promises during the 2016 presidential campaign. Trump promised then that Mexico would bear the costs.

Mexico has put himself cold to to pay the the long and much more expensive wall. And the u.s. congress have also stopped Donald Trump’s attempt to force a payment in exchange for other political promises.

On Wednesday wrote the president in a post on Twitter that Mexico is now ”indirectly” will have to pay for the wall by the new trade agreement which replaces the previous Naftaavtalet between the two countries and Canada.

(indirectly) for the Wall by the new USMCA agreement, which replaces the Nafta! Much more money coming into the united states. Because of the great dangers at the border, including major crime and the influx of drugs, will the u.s. military to build the Wall!”

The new USMCA-the agreement was signed on 30 november in the year of the president of the united states Donald Trump, the prime minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, and Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto, but must also be approved by the three countries ‘ parliaments. Something that will not happen until 2019.

the Democrats have so far been critical of parts of the agreement and it is unclear whether it will be approved in its entirety.

On Wednesday launched the congress work with a proposal to prevent the various any governmental authority is forced to close pending a new budget. A proposal that does not include any funding for a wall.
