In a press release on Tuesday, called on the united nations children’s fund Unicef, all parties in the conflict to refrain from ”committing serious criminal offences against children” – including the recruitment of children as soldiers.

Nine of the dead are civilians, including two doctors who are working to provide critical medical care in Tripoli, said the WHO. Approximately 3,400 individuals have been forced to leave their homes, according to UN estimates.
