Tennis Player Van Rijthoven to Face Belgian Bergs in Rosmalen Comeback

Tennis player Tim van Rijthoven will be facing Belgian player Zizou Bergs in the opening round of the grass tournament in Rosmalen. The match is scheduled to take place on Monday. Van Rijthoven, the winner of 2022, is making his comeback after nearly a year and a half of being sidelined due to injuries.
The 25-year-old Bergs, ranked 104th in the world, enters the tournament as a lucky loser after losing in the final round of the qualification event over the weekend.
Gijs Brouwer, who won two qualification matches, has been paired against Czech player Jakub Mensik in the opening round. Mensik is currently ranked 76th in the world.
In total, four Dutch players are participating in the men’s tournament. Alongside Van Rijthoven and Brouwer, Tallon Griekspoor and Botic van de Zandschulp are also in the competition.
