Weernieuws The past 4 years were the warmest ever measured. That is a report of the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), which is part of the earth observation programme Copernicus of the European Union. With an average temperature of 14.7 degrees Celsius, 0.2 degree less than the hottest year ever measured (2016) state 2018 on the fourth place in the list.
The data of C3S would be the very first complete picture of the temperature and CO2 levels in 2018 for the world. They are in line with what the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) previously predicted on the basis of incomplete data.

2018 rated with an average temperature of 14.7 degrees Celsius more than 0.4 degrees higher than average for the period 1981-2010. The largest warming occurred in the arctic and more specifically in and north of the bering strait between the United States and Russia and around Svalbard, north of Norway. the
On the land was almost everywhere warmer than average, especially in Europe, the Middle East and the west of the United States. The northeast of the USA and some central parts of Russia and Central-Asia had to contend with temperatures lower than average. (read on below)
