More than 700 scientists from around the world will participate from 16 to 19 September at the Campus of the University of Parma at the congress group of the Italian Society of Mineralogy and Petrology (SIMP), the Italian Geological Society (SGI) and the Society Geochemistry, Italian (SoGeI) from the title The weather of planet Earth and the time of man: the Geosciences between the past and the future.

An important scientific meeting, key in the Italian panorama of the Earth Sciences, organized sessions, oral and poster, with the plenary lectures of scholars at an international level, sponsored by the Municipality of Parma, under the framework of the event Parma 2020 Italian Capital of culture and organized by the section of Earth Sciences Department of Chemical Sciences, Life and Environmental Sustainability of the University of Parma.

To open the work will be Mario Tozzi (first CNR researcher and science communicator) with the collaboration of doctor Fabio Di Vincenzo (Institute of Human Paleontology (Rome), with a great informative event is open to the public, scheduled for Monday 16 September to 21 hours in the great hall of the Theater, Two (viale Basetti 12 / a, Parma).
