ENGELBERG (Dagbladet): All the six Norwegian athletes qualified Friday night to verdenscuprennet in the swiss Engelberg on Saturday.
Ryoyu Kobayashi from Japan won ahead of Stefan Kraft and Robert Johansson. Johann André, the Blame was number 7, Andreas the Star 21, Anders Fannemel 25, Halvor Is Granerud 34 and Marius Lindvik 38.
the Results mean that it still turns a part of the norwegians. And the least satisfied were Granerud with 34. space. He was both disappointed and angry when he went out of the ground on Friday night.
– It worked great on training in Vikersund. So do you come here and think that you are good. Instead you get everything in the fleisen and think: “Damn, you are pretty medium.” I lose a little courage, he says to Dagbladet.

Granerud is among the young athletes coach Alexander Stöckl hope to stabilize at a high level. But for 22-year-old can now be a struggle to get to the Hoppuka in Germany and Austria. Norway should have six or seven jumpers, depending on whether the team manages to jump into a kvoteplass in kontinentalcupen.
– Jump in the qualification was positive compared with the two negative treningshoppene. But it was not so much more. It goes in the category of “OK minus”, says Granerud about the leap of 123,5 meters.
” I came here with great ideas, but they need to be changed. It that worked with the steep near-on training in Vikersund, did not work with flat ovarenn and long radius here. I just have to work with myself and still have self-confidence.
– What do you think about hoppukeplassen?
I’m taking the weekend for the weekend and try to do as best I can. I think I’m good enough. I should be good enough. If not I have made a lot of mistakes on the road. I believe I have provided ski jumping which is more than good enough. But there has been a strong winter for many, myself included.
– Scary that it is possible
Right now, Robert Johansson as Norway’s best card. He is on 9. place in the overall world cup title. Blame is number four, but in the evening he came four slots behind Johansson.
A nice start on hoppinga in Engelberg, ” says Johansson about 135-metershoppet.
Kobayashi leads the overall world cup title in front of the poles Piotr Zyla and Kamil Stoch.
– What do you think about Kobayashi who leads the world cup and won the qualification with a jump on 137 metres?
He is in kanonform. He has jumped rock solid and stable. But it is nice to see that it is possible to argue with him.
What is he doing that you don’t do?
– We jump a little bit differently on the ski. But he jumps amazing. He gets early contact with the skis and get plenty of lift out of the edge. He has good form and confidence. He is not, however, impossible to beat.
PS: Launders in Engelberg runs, respectively, at 16.00 on Saturday and 14.15 on Sunday. TV 2 has the rights this weekend.
