Eight people died, four were seriously injured and 12 came easier to damage, when the system 210 collided with a semi-trailer on a freight train 9233 on the great belt Bridge 2. January.
In the fateful seconds before the collision, observed the driver spark from the detached semi-trailer, and just a second before the collision he pulled into the farebremsen.
It is one of the more details, as the Accident investigation board has just published a 18 pages long report with the preliminary findings.
Herein reads it also:
’the Accident investigation board considers it at the present time mostly likely to sættevognstrailerens kongetap was not locked into the podium.’
Lastvogntraileren was in other words not connected firmly to the godsvognen after foreskrifterne.
According to these studies, there was neither damage to the so-called kongetap or skamlens låsmekanisme.
in addition to the trailer, which was involved in the accident, were two additional sættevognstrailere on to not be locked in their stools, according to Havarikommissionens preliminary report.
the Accident investigation board has also made calculations of the wind conditions. Here sounds the result that a rotational speed of 21.8 m/s could be sufficient to overturn sættevognstraileren of lommevognen – provided that kongetappen was not locked in the stool.
At the time of the accident was the maximum measured wind speed of 21.6 m/s. On this basis it is concluded that there could be local wind conditions, which were powerful enough to overthrow the trailer of the wagon.
In the light of sparks observed along the to and the finds of parts of the trailer considers Aib to be able to conclude that the trailer was not in the proper loaded position on the lommenvognen.
