Frank Hördler finish his career in the national team
The defender completed after 124 Games (9 goals, 22 Assists) on the international stage, his career with the German national team. That was probably a wise decision, because in the plans of the new Bundestrainners Toni Söderholm Hördler would have played a role. The 34-Year-old is another silver-back medal winner.
Hördler is quoted from the DEB after his conversation with söderholm and President Franz Reindl as follows: “It took a little longer, before I came to this decision. I did a lot of thinking in the last half of the year. In the past days, months, and years, we had so much fun with the national team, I’d like to play another ten years. Sometimes you miss the Moment, in fact, stop when it is at its most beautiful. This should not happen to me here.“
