‘They must have been very hungry…’

so says a local fisherman, who on Wednesday caught the attention of no less than five sharks on the popular australian resort town of Coffs Harbour.

the Fisherman by the name of Billy Brislane shared a picture where he poses with his catch, which he spotted on the coast between the popular holiday resort and coastal town of Port Macquarie. According to the fisherman, there were several swimmers that drove around on the jetskis close.

Billy Brislane also says the australian media, that he caught them close at South West Rocks, which is an extremely popular beach among tourists in Australia.

The largest of the sharks was measured to be no less than 3.5 metres long, while the smallest was 1.7 metres.

– They must have been very hungry, for they had babyhajer, dolphins and stingrays in the stomach, tells the local fisherman to the australian media.

It is certainly not the first time that there are problems with the sharks at Australia’s many popular tourist destinations. So had the authorities at the tropical archipelago Whitsundays near the Great Barrier Reef at the australian east coast last year to go in high alert in the wake of three shark attacks in just two months.

In the month of september was a 46-year-old woman by the name of Justine Barwick, as well as a 12-year-old girl by the name of Hannah Papps attacked during two separate attacks that sent them both to the hospital with serious injuries. The 12-year-old girl was among other things, amputated his leg after the encounter with the aggressive shark.

And in november month lost a 33-year-old doctor by the name of Daniel Christidis life, when he was attacked by a shark, which bit him in both arms and legs after he had jumped into the water in connection with a yachttur with his friends.

in Addition, a 36-year-old surfer in december have been flown to the hospital in critical condition when he was bitten by a shark at Scott’s Head Beach, which is located about 490 miles north of Sydney, while the two kayakers new year’s eve had to flee from an aggressive shark, as they paddled around at Fairy Meadow Beach in New South Wales on the australian east coast.

– I can’t remember, that a shark has ever gone to the attack on a kayak before. And it must have been quite large since it was longer than our two-person kayak, says one kayaker by the name of Anthony Turner to the australian media.
