NEWCASTLE (Dagbladet): Quinton Fortune (41) played seven seasons in Manchester United from 1999 to ten in 2006. He played among other things with Ole Gunnar Solskjær, and know both the Norwegian and the club well.

Fortune describes a good environment during Ferguson, where people knew what that required of them, and often behaved accordingly.
– It is incredible. It is what we have missed. In all environments, if there is a positive environment, so people will thrive. Ole has brought the feeling back. He was used to the environment when he played, on a daily basis during training, with the players who had a wonderful relationship with each other. This is what the players were accustomed to under Sir Alex, and he has brought it back, ” says Fortune about the Solskjærs influence.

Fortune learned Solskjær’s good to know in the course of the six seasons, the duo played together. He thinks it is difficult to say whether he thought Solskjær would one day lead a storklubb as a manager.

I worked with Joe in Cardiff (the assist for the U21 team in 2014, journ.anm.), so I saw the other side of him when he had to say things.
