Actually, the race for Nadine Fähndrich seemed to be gone. She ran to sixth place, a small distance between her and the runners in front of you. But then the Unexpected happened. The five riders in front of Fähndrich clean yourself out of the way, Fähndrich inherited and won the Fis race in Sweden (the Video above).
The Situation is reminiscent of games of a legendary scene of the winter Olympics. In 2002 in Salt Lake City, the Australian Steven Bradbury to claim an unexpected gold medal in the short track. This, after he claimed several large lucky. Or the other athletes a lot of bad luck. In the semi-finals Bradbury came in only because one of his competitors was disqualified in the Final because three of the runners fell.
These Final Bradbury won. In the last lap of the race he was lagging behind, with no Chance of a medal. However, as with Ensign, the four competitors cleared the last curve before the finish line equal to itself out of the way. Bradbury went loose and got Gold.
