The dates for the CEB, CE1D, and CESS exams have been announced by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. The exams will be conducted simultaneously in all schools, with the same instructions, questions, and correction criteria for all students taking the exams.

CEB:
The CEB includes exams in French, mathematics, and science/history-geography. It will be taken by a total of 60,668 students, including 6th-grade primary students, 1st-grade differentiated secondary education students, and homeschooled students who will be 12 years old by August 31. The exams will be held in the mornings of Monday, June 24, Tuesday, June 25, Thursday, June 27, and Friday, June 28, 2024.

CE1D:
The CE1D exam, mandatory since 2013, covers subjects such as French, mathematics, modern languages, and science for all 2nd-year common and additional students. A total of 58,292 students will be taking the exam. The modern language exam will take place on Friday, June 21, for the written part and between Friday, June 21, and Thursday, June 27, for the oral part. The math exam will be on Monday, June 24, the French exam on Tuesday, June 25, and the science exam on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

CESS:
The CESS-history exam evaluates the critical competence of 6th-grade general and technical and artistic transition students, with 19,919 students taking the exam. The CESS-French transition exam is for 6th-grade general and technical and artistic transition students, with 28,429 students taking the exam. This year, the French exam will be on Friday, June 21, and the history exam on Monday, June 24, 2024.

Results:
The CEB results will be announced to the press on Thursday, July 4, 2024, with final pass rates available in September 2024 on the enseignement.be website. CE1D and CESS exam results will also be available in September 2024 on the same website.
