moving Forward it should go. At Arsenal a breath of fresh air on the side line, blowing, thanks to Freddie Ljungberg. The Swede has taken over the team as interim coach after Unai Emery last Friday, was made redundant and made it clear in his first Interview: “I like entertaining soccer .” Although his debut will be with the 2:2 was not promoted Norwich as desired, had Ljungberg after the game, positive and raring to go. “On offense, we played well,” he said after the game.

Meanwhile, however, it is clear that under the 42-Year-old was already a part of emery’s coaching staff at Arsenal, not everything new will be. He announced, looking for his first home game on Thursday evening at someone’s advice who has at Arsenal for a very long time past: Arsène Wenger.

“I would very much like to speak with him,” says Ljungberg. “He was 22 years as a coach here and, therefore, has a lot of experience. There are probably some things that he finds important and with me you can share. He can make me a better coach.”

from Eriksson, he gets hints

Ljungberg and Wenger combines a lot. The Frenchman signed a midfielder in 1998 as a 21-Year-old from the southern Swedish Club Halmstad for 3 million pounds. Ljungberg stayed with the Gunners for ten years, graduated from 216 games under Wenger and became a club legend. After his career as a player, while Wenger was still the Arsenal coach, had coached he Junior teams of the Gunners.

Wenger responded immediately to Ljungbergs statements and told Sky Sports: “I am always pleased to help my former Club and former players of mine. If he has this need, I am, of course, available.” The 70-Year-old said: “My heart is still with this club and I want him to be a success. Freddie is incredibly engaged, he wanted this Job for a long time. Now he has the Chance.” Wenger’s answer ended with a plea to the Arsenal Fans: “we have to get him his ideas to implement and support it.”

Also from compatriot Sven-Göran Eriksson, the young Trainer would get the Council. “Sven is very intelligent. I spoke often with him when he was England coach, because he’s watched many of our games.” He had learned also of the training methods of Eriksson: “I have some of his ideas, stole a little. He is a great coach.”

Can lead Ljungberg Arsenal in the future?

“From now on, should it go forward,” says Ljungberg. For him, embodies Arsenal both past and present, will be crucial, as he balanced these two roles. Ljungberg is wary of too much on Arsenal’s successful past with him as a player, and to draw on his Status as a club legend, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United does. Much more he would recommend to his present Job as the interim coach to be the face of the future of the Arsenal: as a head coach. The home game against Brighton on Thursday night offers the first opportunity to do so.
