transport minister Benny Engelbrecht (S) is the main task to do the Transport ministry green, he says.
But a major conversion of car use in Denmark, where gasoline and diesel cars should be out, and electric cars to enter, the kingdom of Denmark and the government does not make alone. It should also be done at the european level, the minister says.
– This requires of course, that not only Denmark goes ahead, but that we also get the whole of the european community, he says.
The red parties were with the formation of S-the government agreed on a “forståelsespapir”. Here it appears that they will put a stop to the sale of diesel and gasoline cars by 2030.
instead, significantly more electric cars on the roads, sounds it. And availability are charging points important, therefore, considers the minister of transport.
He does, however, also clear that it is the government which must out and putting charging points up.
– It is not the case that the Danish minister for transport to out and knock the charging points up. It is supposed to be such that there is a market, which can handle it.
– There are also non-governmental stations of the Danish road network. But we must make sure that there are some conditions that make it possible, says Benny Engelbrecht.
A concrete plan for how the government will ensure that more charging points, do the danes, however, wait.
– All the of course we come to be much more concrete than we are after a week, the minister says.
As part of the transition of the transport sector, it should also examine whether it is possible to advance the work of the commission, looking at a green transition of passenger cars, so that the commission can report back before the end of 2020.
For when the work is finished, there must be a political agreement, which should create a calm about the green transition.
– of course We will see if we can get some of the instruments, to divert the automotive sector, faster on the track.
– It is clear that we must target in 2030, with a reduction in emissions of 70 percent – it is very ambitious – it requires that we can get the concrete instruments on the track as soon as possible, ” says Benny Engelbrecht.
He adds, however, that he does not yet know whether it will be possible for the commission to be finished before time.
