Residents in Los Angeles was on Wednesday evening greeted by a, to put it mildly strange sight, as the sun went down.

the Phenomenon that appeared over the city’s skyscrapers, looked more like a fireball that flew across the sky.

It writes CBS Los Angeles.

Several users shared their amazement on Twitter, along with videos of the fireball.

‘What is the flying object, burning, over downtown Los Angeles, the’ ask user Dennis Hegstad.

‘Is there anyone else who has seen a gigantic meteor or fireball just above downtown Los Angeles for a couple of minutes ago? It looked like a meteor, but it was too close to the ground,’ writes the user Kasey Clark.

It turned out not to be a naturally arising phenomenon, but rather a stunt that was staged by Red Bull.

the Fireball was not fire, but a person wearing a wingsuit, hovering over the city with a tail of sparks behind him.

Wingsuits are suits with aerodynamically shaped blades, which means that you can soar through the air.

The wingsuits, which was used to stuntet, was equipped with LED lights and pyrotechnics, so they could attract attention.

the Occasion for stuntet was that, for the third time in a year was supermåne over Los Angeles.
