Stina Nilsson took his first sprintseger for the season when she won Saturday’s race in the swiss city of Davos, before the american Sophie Caldwell and third Maja Dahlqvist.
Nilsson was a fine tactical effort through and through and won by far, with 72 hundradelars margin, before Caldwell. It was her first victory of the season after a sixth and a second place finish in the two previous races.
” I’m really, very happy. It has felt like two races with a little stake out in the past. It is a very big difference to be first instead of second or sixth. Extra fun to win in Davos because it is a favorite place, ” she says in segerintervjun in the SVT.
Nilsson the total sprintcupen. Maja Dahlqvist is the second.
– There is nothing that I so far have thought of. But it is never wrong to take on the red shirt, ” says Nilsson.
Before the season had Dahlqvist only taken a podium finish in his career. This season, she has two. In addition to the third place in Davos where she finished second, also in Ruka.

Dahlqvist quickly throughout the day. She came in second in qualifying and won his heat in the quarterfinals. Well, in the final, it was Stina Nilsson’s race, but Dahlqvist fought on.
” I was actually very dumb, so I got the war from the start. Stina went in from, so it was pretty staggered to the end of the year. It was not so tactical, but more just to bomb, ” says Dahlqvist.
