ULRICEHAMN/OSLO (Dagbladet): Therese Johaug was the world’s best distanseløper before christmas and have won all distanserenn she has gone in this comebacksesongen.
But even if she was the best in the world before christmas, she is significantly better now, just as a coach Pål Gunnar Mikkelsplass notified in the Newspaper earlier in January.
the Evidence we received in Otepää last weekend, with all the world class to the present. The level in the top in the international kvinnelangrenn has perhaps never been better, with profiles and vinnertyper as Charlotte Called, Ebba Andersson, Krista Pärmäkoski, Natalya Neprajeava and Ingvild Flugstad Østberg all in brilliant form.
Still triumphed Johaug with the greatest seiersmargin on a 10 mile intervallstart in the world cup, shows Dagbladet overview.
Interesting enough, as well Marit Bjørgen as Bente Skari, Justyna Kowalczyk and Johaug have had an almost split seiersrekord of a little over 40 seconds as most of the 10 km intervallstart.

In Otepää took Johaug even a new step when she notched a historic great seiersmargin at this level, despite the fact that all the best were in place, and it was gone very fast in the Estonian motbakkene.
Better than Bjørgen and Skari
Previously, this has been the most sovereign seiersmarginene on the 10 mile intervallstart at the highest level:
* Marit Bjørgen won in november 2010, the 10 km freestyle in without such a law with a seiersmargin on 41,1 seconds in front of the deuce Charlotte Called.

The greatest female langrennsløperne on have all had their biggest seiersmargin at 41-44 seconds at 10 km intervallstart.

Before christmas had little Johaug a sprintprolog in the Scandinavian Cup, which gave 8. place and a time on a level with Pål Golberg, Mattis Stenshagen, Fredrik Riseth and Paul Trøan Aune. The goal of the NM is the top 10 location and a spot on the national quota in the world cup in Drammen in march.
It is with other words a solid yardstick of the opposite sex as Therese Johaug has kept track on the I4-hardøkter the last month. For the world’s best female langrennsløper have matched one of the twenty best male cross-country skiers in training.
ten kilometers is Therese now only about one minute behind Karstein, who is in norgestoppen on the men’s side.
– It’s pretty wild, ” says Karstein Johaug to the Newspaper.

The mental is in place again after a heavier period before christmas. Both the body and the head is on top.
– Therese is perhaps better than ever. Her winning streak is phenomenal. But personally I think it will be challenging for her in some easier trails in Seefeld to be so superb, ” says the coach Vidar Løfshus to the Newspaper.
As the private footage from the Johaugs trainings in the christmas season shows, she has taken major steps technical. Motbakkedronninga from dalsbygda, upon application, is not only the best physically anymore. Now, she is in addition among the best technical skiing.
