Cycling Remco Evenepoel is after his task because of a crash in the fourth stage of the UAE Tour (UAE/world tour) and transferred to the hospital, confirmed his team Deceuninck-Quick Step. There were in the investigations’t show any fractures, only abrasions.

As a precaution, there are scans taken and we have learned that he has no fractures or contusions. Just some abrasions. Every accident is a bit of a scare, it is always difficult, but that is unfortunately in cycling. We want to know how it happened and wait for further investigations.”

Ewan wins
The Australian Caleb Ewan (Lotto Soudal) won the fourth stage in the UAE Tour (UAE/world tour). After 197 kilometres between Palm Jumeirah, Hatta Dam was the 24-year-old Ewan on the final climb with steep sections of up to seventeen percent faster than the Italian Matteo Moschetti and the Slovenian Primoz Roglic, that leader remains. For Ewan it was the first victory in a WorldTour race for Lotto Soudal, that him at the end of last year took over from Mitchelton-Scott.
Six riders opted for the long flight. For the third day in a row, Stepan Kurianov and Charles Planet, who was a solid fight uitvochten to the tussensprinten.
