– We have been really happy to be down here. With the uncertainty about Covid-19 both håndboldmæssigt, but also family in relation to how our everyday lives would be down here, and whether we would even be able to get a visit from home, so we felt that it was a good time to come home to Denmark again after eight years abroad, says Rene Toft Hansen.

– Bjerringbro-Silkeborg has a long history shown, that the club belongs in the top of Danish handball, and I want to be a part of. The club has next year an exciting team, and it was important for me to get home to a team that can win the championship.
He has helped to win the european championship, WORLD cup and OLYMPICS with the Denmark. Earlier in his career, he has appeared for the Danish clubs Viborg HK KIF Kolding and AG København.
Brother Henrik Toft Hansen has represented BSH in a single season. It was in 2012/13.
