last Sunday was a cruise ship from Miami. With the on board should have been the Danish band D-A-D, which according to plan should have the game on the hard-hitting cruise with the title ‘Monsters of Rock’.
Unfortunately, the band has, among other things, consists of the two Binzer-brothers – older brother Jesper and younger brother Jacob have had to cancel their participation in the cruise, which ends 1. march.
On the band’s website explains that it is due to Jesper and Jacob’s father, unfortunately, is fatally ill.
‘The father of Jesper and Jacob is terminally ill and therefore they are not able to leave Denmark at this present time’, says, among other things.
– We are on hospice, and we keep the hand in the clock. We’re just trying to be there for him. More is actually not to say right now, ” says Jesper Binzer to Ekstra Bladet.

Even though the band has been forced to cancel their u.s. koncerteventyr, the great Danish concerts in, respectively, the Ceres Arena in Aarhus 5. april, Odeon in Odense, denmark 6. april and KB Hallen in Copenhagen 12. april is not in danger of cancellation.
– All of the Danish concerts is going to run, but to be over there (in the UNITED states, red.) right now, while there were things at home, which was more important, it would be absolutely bloody stupid, says Jesper Binzer and adds that the american organizers of the ‘Monsters of Rock’cruise has been very sympathetic in relation to the necessary cancellation.
– It has to be really cute at us over there from the cruise and automatically hired us again for the next year, so we postpone the trip for a single year, says Jesper Binzer.
Jesper and Jacob’s father, Lars Arild, is 81 years old and suffers from a lung disease that slowly robs him of the ability to absorb oxygen.
D-A-D is just now in the studio to complete their new and long awaited album, which is due to the livelihood of this spring.
