Test: Exible BIT100 – Classes wireless handsets
Clas Ohlson make your own true wireless-headphones – So good are they
Clas Ohlson’s own brand of wireless headphones is quite okay for its price, think Tek.no:s tech expert.
For the category of completely wireless headphones still have to convince us really well. Childhood illnesses have flourished, and prices are largely still left on the 1 500 and up.
Now, the jumps, however, Clas Ohlson on the train with its Exible-brand, and their new BIT100 costs ”only” 699 sek.
Probably is a generic Kinaprodukt that Clas Ohlson has put her name on it, but that it needs to be something negative.
Quite discreet in the ear
the Design is relatively ospännande, with black plastic and a subtle Exible-log at. The headphones are a few millimeters longer than, for example, Earins superdiskreta M-2, which do they stand as much longer out of the ear. It is still far from the worst we have seen in that particular area.
the Headphones have a multifunktionsknapp at the end, which can be used to play\u002Fpausa music (one press), skip forward or back a song (two, press the right or left handset), or answer the phone.
You can not adjust the volume directly on the headphones. Having to push the headphones further into in the ear at change the let is also not optimal, but we take it rather than not having the option at all.
It is also a bit annoying that you have to put on both headphones was for every time you take them out of the case. An automatic on and off function had been practical.
Must be used with the wings
BIT100-the headphones come with three sets of combined pluppar and wings. Thus you can not combine for example, large wings with small pluppar. It can be a challenge if you have a little unorthodox proportioned ears, but we like to think that most will be able to find a pair that works well.
For me, it was the smallest set, and with it sitting the headphones relatively well in place, even in intense head movement. It is also worth noting that you can’t use these headphones without the wings, so if you have an aversion to it, you should already now choose something else.
Laddetuiet that comes with the is small and compact, and contains enough power to recharge headphones two times. It gives a total battery life of somewhere between six and ten hours, according to Clas Ohlson, because the headphones will keep two to three hours on a single charge. It is quite lean, but as the cost of Exible-the headphones a third as much as most other products in this category.
We had also desired that the case had a small magnet to keep the headphones in place, it can be a bit of a challenge to find exactly the right position when you are going to put into them.
Otherwise, we have little to complain about with the set. It is fickvänligt, but the black finish is very sensitive for scratches and fingerprints, so it will probably not look so nice after a few weeks of use.
Actually pretty good audio
We did not have particularly high expectations of the sound quality, but it is actually pretty good. BIT100 place something over the border to the chilly and the metallic side on another, but has a rather airy and expansive soundstage to bid on, and good balance through the entire registry.
We had maybe wished for a little more deep bass, but the level of detail in the top is approved, and it sounds generally pretty good, especially considering the price. The treble is also quite nicely rounded off, so that you can play relatively loud without making it sound jarring or awkward.
Blåtandsanslutningen is basically stable, but we have experienced a few times that the sound has jumped out in a short time. Not so much that it deters, and largely, they have been reliable.
Good inside, not as good out there
the call quality in quiet surroundings is acceptable, and you can definitely use them to answer calls in the office. Just like with some other products in this category, however, you receive only the sound just in one ear, the right in this case, which is annoying. Please, give us stereo sound.
In the noisy surroundings of the outdoors, the situation is different, however. It doesn’t seem as if BIT100 have some form of noise cancellation in the microphone, so all the noise from the environment will in the sounds that the other person is served. ”It is so bad that I had asked you to take off the headphones and talk right into the phone,” noted his colleague Niklas Plikk when we tried to implement a call of the rowdy and noisy the Oslo streets.
the Battery life seems to match well with the Clas Ohlson advertising. You get hardly more than three hours of playtime on a single charge, but it’s seldom you get as little as two. Regardless of this, we had wanted the case kept for one or two charges, because it sets a bit in everyday life. You need to charge several times a week if you use them as I do.
For its price, we think actually not that Exible BIT100 makes it so very good. 700 crowns are still a lot of money for many to put on a pair of headphones, but it is still considerably smaller than the vast, vast majority of other couple of ”true wireless”-lurking would cost you. At the time of writing, they are also available for lanseringspriset 499.
Battery life is perhaps not jätteimponerande, but the sound is absolutely approved and they also work okay for calls in the office – although we very much had the call audio in both ears.
If you are keen to have completely wireless headphones, but not having to spend several thousand is thus Exible BIT100 a pretty good choice. Do you want to have longer battery life, however, you should look for a better alternative in our big test.
the Exible BIT100 receives a rating of 7.5 of Tek.no, that conducted and first published in the test.
