Andreas Star was the best with a jump of 122,5 meters. It resulted in 128,3 points and a 7.-space.
Markus Eisenbichler of Germany was the best in qualification with 143,2 points. Compatriot Karl Geiger on 2.-space jumped the furthest with 131 metres.
All of the Norwegian athletes were expected to move on to Saturday’s race and did just that. Only ten of the 60 in the qualification have to watch the race from the tribuneplass.
Halvor Is Granerud would not be anything worse than the Star. Asker-the boy jumped just as far and got the same stilkarakterer as trønderen. Still had the 22-year-old better relationship and consequently had to settle with 12.-place, four points behind his teammate.
Johann André, the Blame was not entirely to klaffe Friday and landed on 114 meters. It was 13 metres shorter than the treningshoppet. Tromsøværingen qualified yet with clear margin, and ended on 25.-space.
Also Robert Johansson struggled in the heavy conditions. Lillehamringen was the weakest of the Norwegian with a jump on 110,5 meters, but is still ready for a Saturday storbakkerenn with a 32. space. the
