Andreas Star was the best with a jump of 122,5 meters. It resulted in 128,3 points and a 7.-space.
Markus Eisenbichler of Germany was the best in qualification with 143,2 points. Compatriot Karl Geiger on 2.-space jumped the furthest with 131 metres.
All of the Norwegian athletes were expected to move on to Saturday’s race and did just that. Only ten of the 60 in the qualification have to watch the race from the tribuneplass.
