times of Crisis remain in top management at the Danish Cycling Union (DCU). As an Extra Leaf in multiple stages has been able to tell, there is a big split in the DCU’s board of directors, which is resounding to disagree about how connected to be operated, and in the worst cases, the president may, Henrik Jess Jensen, being toppled from his post.

the Board of directors has been divided into two camps, as Ekstra Bladet also has been able to tell you. And now there is a new in the case. Extra Magazine has gotten hold of a confidential internal mail, which is sent from a member of the supervisory board and to the board of governors, which is DCU’s top and custom body.

The three members of the board Lars Kaspersen, Bo Belhage, and Jens Panum Have would in the first instance, like to topple the president, Henrik Jess Jensen. Now, the latter have, however, drawn in the country and denounces the fierce criticism of Henrik Jess Jensen.

It is revealed in the said mail, which is sent from the referred to member of the supervisory board in the DCU. This is supposed to be Jens Panum Have, which is behind the sent word to the board.

And this is even despite the fact that he had otherwise declared his full support for the current president in the DCU, even though he initially believed the opposite.

In the mail, writes Jens Panum Have, allegedly, that he in no ways has supported to try to get tipped Henrik Jess Jensen down from the chair. He considers not that it is truthfully what is happening from Bo Belhage, and Lars Kaspersens side of the case.

instead lashing out after the two board members, and criticize them both to have broken the board’s confidentiality by going to the press. In the email he writes, moreover, that he does not want to be a part of a politicised power struggle and engage in magtalliancer or wings.

He points out, furthermore in the email, he appreciates, respect, truth, and decency in a confederation, as the DCU, for it is namely important values, he stresses.

finally mention Jens Panum Have, too, that he is of the belief that the entire conflict in the DCU-board is in no way is beneficial and productive for the connected.

Ekstra Bladet has tried to get a comment from Jens Panum Hansen. He says, however, in a TEXT message to Ekstra Bladet, that he does not want to discuss or comment on the internal DCU relationship in the press.

But here stops the troubles, far from it. the in Order to understand all the conflict we need to turn the clock a bit back. Ekstra Bladet could the other day to tell you that an internal power struggle in the DCU’s top management had been fired Jesper Worre as the race director for PostNord Around Denmark, which is Denmark’s largest cycling event.

A decision that does not all agree, and in fact is DCU not convinced yet that they have terminated the agreement with Jesper Worre.

I rather think DCU led by Henrik Jess Jensen and director Martin Elleberg Petersen, that the federation leadership is still in dialogue with Jesper Worre on the work as the race director of PostNord Denmark Around.

Jesper Worre says in return that he has received a mail, where he has been told that he had been dismissed.

Thus is the case with many in the top of the DCU’s leadership, and the last word can hardly be said in the matter.
