The first of the two women’s Alpine Ski World Cup downhills which was to be held on Saturday in Zermatt-Cervinia was canceled due to bad weather conditions, the International Ski Federation (FIS) announced without mentioning a decision on the second race scheduled for Sunday.
This unprecedented Italian-Swiss stage had already been completely canceled in 2022 and the men’s races planned for last weekend could not take place either due to the weather conditions.
