The giant men’s opening of the Alpine Ski World Cup canceled in Sölden (Austria) at the end of October has been rescheduled for Aspen (United States) in March, the International Ski Federation (FIS) announced on Wednesday. The Colorado resort was already scheduled to organize a giant on March 2 and then a slalom on March 3, and is therefore adding another men’s giant to its program on March 1.

The men’s Alpine Ski World Cup season, after the cancellation of the Sölden giant and then the Zermatt/Cervinia events due to weather conditions, was launched last week with the slalom of Gurgl (Austria), won by the local Manuel Feller.
