Sasha Zhoya, recent sixth in the 110m hurdles world final in Budapest, withdrew at the last minute from the meeting in Zurich (Switzerland) on Thursday due to “left hamstring discomfort”, indicated her entourage.

Zhoya (21 years old), promise of French athletics and European hopeful champion in July, is one of the rare French athletes to have made a place in the final during the World Championships which concluded on Sunday. He improved his personal best (13.15) in the semi-finals before finishing sixth in the final, in 13 sec 26.
