American basketball player Aaron Harper died Friday at the age of 42 in a road accident. The tragedy occurred in Mississippi, in the United States. Champion of France in 2007 with the Chorale de Roanne, the 2.02 m winger was still playing professionally in Mexico.
After a successful debut at the University of Mississippi, the Jackson native made his professional debut in Europe. In the Loire, Harper formed a sparkling 100% American trio with Dewarick Spencer and Marc Salyers. After his time in France, he played in several minor championships, notably in Ukraine, Venezuela, Bulgaria and Lebanon. He also wore the colors of the Pau club.
