The basketball players of Chalon-sur-Saône obtained their ticket for the Elite championship by winning the accession play-offs against Châlons-Reims on Tuesday evening.

Defeated at home by Châlons-Reims in Match 1 on June 7 (77-70), Chalon-sur-Saône had restored the situation by going to win Saturday in Champagne (72-63). The Elan finished the job on Tuesday evening in their room at the Coliseum by winning 83-68.

Relegated to ProB in 2021, Elan, champion of France in 2012 and 2017, will come back together with Saint-Quentin, who obtained his ticket to the elite on May 12 by finishing first in the regular season. For their part, Pau-Orthez and Fos-sur-Mer are relegated to Pro B.
