American winger from Villeneuve-d’Ascq Kennedy Burke was voted best player of the regular season of the Women’s Basketball League (LFB), like last year, the LFB announced on Thursday.
Burke, 27, is averaging 15 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game this season.
She plays her last matches with the Northerners at the Final Four of the Euroleague, starting Friday in Mersin (Turkey), before flying to the United States and the WNBA season.
The ESBVA, first in the regular season, will however be able to count on its coach Rachid Meziane, elected best coach of the season, for the play-offs of the upcoming championship.
