American playmaker Paris Lee, from Panathinaikos Athens, a former Monaco player, has signed for Villeurbanne for next season, the club, a permanent member of the Euroleague, announced on Thursday.
Aged 28, Lee (1.93m) turned professional in 2017. He had been released from his contract with Pana.
Paris Lee arrived in Europe by signing with Antwerp (Belgium, 2017-2019). He then moved to Bamberg (Germany, 2019-2020) then to France in Orléans (2020-2021) and finally to Monaco with whom he lost in the final of the French championship against Asvel at the end of match 5 (2022).
Last season, he was a finalist in the Greek championship and was regular in the Euroleague (11.2 points, 3.9 assists).
