The French women’s basketball team easily scored a second victory in two qualifying matches for Euro-2025, Sunday in Dublin against the weak Irish (100-48). The Blues, after a quarter-time run-in (18-17), won (49-23 at half-time) against the 80th nation in the world.
They increase their lead at the top of group E (4 pts) over the Latvians (1 pt, one match), whom they beat on Wednesday (71-49), the Irish (1 pt, one match) and Israel (no match ). Their next meeting in these qualifications, of which the first of each group (and the four best runners-up) qualifies for the Euro, is scheduled for November 7, 2024 against Israel.
