Frenchwoman Justine Braisaz-Bouchet won the sprint on Friday in Soldier Hollow (Utah), in the United States, her fifth victory of the season in the Biathlon World Cup, three weeks after world gold obtained in mass start.

With a 9 out of 10 in shooting, Braisaz-Bouchet won with a 13 sec 4/10th lead over the Norwegian Ingrid Tandrevold and 19 sec 2/10th over another Frenchwoman, Lou Jeanmonnot, who achieved a scoreless -fault on the shooting range. This new success allows “JBB” to climb to second place in the general World Cup standings, behind Tandrevold, now four individual races from the end of winter.
