The men’s sprint, initially scheduled for Thursday afternoon in Oberhof (Germany), fourth stage of the Biathlon World Cup, has been postponed until Friday due to bad weather conditions, the organizers announced on Wednesday.

“Due to the current mild temperatures and rain, as well as the strong wind expected tomorrow (Thursday) in Oberhof, the competition program has been changed. The men’s sprint is now scheduled for Friday 5 at 11:20 a.m., before the women’s sprint at the beginning of the afternoon, writes the International Biathlon Federation (IBU).

The rest of the program for the resumption week of the Biathlon World Cup is unchanged, with two pursuits on Saturday and two relays on Sunday.
