The Czech Republic has booked its ticket for the semi-finals of the Billie Jean King Cup this Friday in Seville. The Czechs will challenge Canada on Saturday for a place in the final. Slovenia-Italy for the other poster.

In Group A, the Czechs had the last word over the Americans in the decisive doubles, Barbora Krejcikova/Katerina Siniakova winning 6-3, 7-5 at the expense of Danielle Collins/Taylor Townsend, while the score was 1-1 after the singles. The Czech Republic, which has 11 titles in this event formerly called Fed Cup (until 2020), will face Canada in the first semi-final, which came out at the top of Group C after having dismissed Spain and Poland.
