Bayern Munich players Kingsley Coman and Noussair Mazraoui will miss Bayern’s upcoming matches due to injuries, the Bavarian club said on Wednesday. They were injured during Bayern’s 1-0 Champions League victory over Manchester United on Tuesday which saw Coman score the winner.

“Bayern will be without Kingsley Coman and Noussair Mazraoui in its next matches,” said a press release from the reigning German champion club. He specifies that the Frenchman suffers from a muscle tear in his right thigh, just like the Moroccan Mazraoui but in his left thigh.

The Bavarians still have to play two German championship matches before the winter break: the first by hosting 3rd Stuttgart at home on Sunday and the second by traveling to Wolfsburg next Wednesday. They are currently second, four points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen, with a game in hand.

Bayern qualified for the round of 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday by finishing at the top of Group A.
